The purpose of this video series was designed out of the desire to feature formidable women who have overcome difficult situations by sharing their personal stories, to help encourage and inspire other women who may be in the same situation or equip others to support their fellow sister.
On this first episode, we meet Paulette Monteiro the author of Behind the Smile, sharing about the trauma she experienced at a young age from sexual abuse, domestic violence to an eating disorder. We will also learn about key things to be aware of in toxic relationships and be a good support to others in similar situations. Paulette today is a small group leader of young girls at her local church, she writes inspirational blogs on Best Believe UK and reaching other broken women.
